The Central Okanagan Planning Study is looking at ways to reduce congestion in two areas of Highway 97: on the Warren Bennett Bridge connecting Kelowna and West Kelowna and on the area of the highway that runs through Peachland. Members of the C&E team worked on this project in 2016 to provide a range of communications and engagement services including:

 

• Developing the communications and engagement strategies for different phases of the project

• Designing and producing a variety of communications materials such as consultation companion booklets and display boards

• Organizing and hosting public engagement events

• Participating in meetings with Technical Advisory Groups and Community Advisory Groups

• Designing and facilitating workshops with the Community Advisory Groups

• Providing overall strategic direction and advice throughout the project
