The University of British Columbia (UBC) is in the process of transforming their Vancouver campus from a place where people go, to a place where people live. The vision is for a complete community – a place where students, faculty, staff and other private residents can live, work, learn and recreate all in one integrated geographic area. The C&E Group worked with UBC’s Campus and Community Planning unit on Phase 1 and 2 of the project to develop communications and engagement strategies, and to design and facilitate several staff workshops on strategy, implementation schedules, messaging and decision-making. The project successfully engaged several key stakeholders and made several decisions on the project based on the communications and engagement work.
